BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER

Bourton-on-the-Water is located in the Cotswolds, famous for its honey-coloured stone architecture and idyllic village scenes and attractions.

Known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, this one village offers a wealth of attractions and shops, restaurants, cafes and tea rooms. Or simply the space for you to enjoy some pleasurable time engrossed by the movement of the sparkling waters of the River Windrush, spanned by its five arched bridges.

Bourton is not a theme park... but it might as well be! It boasts a bird park, model village and motoring museum to keep you and your kids entertained, that's if you can keep them out of the river...

BIBURY TROUT FARM

Bibury Trout Farm, in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold village of Bibury, is one of the oldest - founded in 1902 - and certainly the most attractive trout farm in the country. Primarily a working farm, breeding and rearing high quality Rainbow and Brown Trout for restocking angling waters, it has welcomed visitors since 1965, who can see the water come alive as the fish are fed and learn about the life of a Trout! Numerous ducks, swans, Kingfishers, geese and other wildlife including the rare water vole can be seen and fed in the beautiful surroundings. The not so welcome Heron and Otter are also regular visitors.

Visitors can walk the grounds, feed the fish and have a go at catching them at the angling centre.  Also there is a play area and miniature gold course for the kids.  BBQs can also be hired on site.

CROCODILES OF THE WORLD

Crocodiles of the World is the UK's first and only crocodile zoo, and is home to over 80 crocodiles, which represent 12 of the 23 extant crocodilian species, making it the largest collection of crocodiles in the UK.

Founded by crocodile specialist Shaun Foggett, Crocodiles of the World is the result of a lifetime dedicated to the care and breeding of crocodiles. From a childhood collecting exotic pets and reptiles, Shaun has travelled the world learning about these incredible animals, and is now recognised as one of the few licensed and trusted crocodile keepers in the country.

Also at Crocodiles of the World you can see a number of other reptiles including a 2 metre (6.5 ft) crocodile monitor lizard, alligator snapping turtle, Meller's chameleons, pig-nosed turtle, and other reptile species.
